Good teaching –> better learning

In society there is no perfect way of teaching, great way to give a lesson, nor a certain way to give a lecture. One thing I noticed as a student is that giving students a hand on a project makes them engaged especially if they relate it to something that the student is interested in. Teachers who make a plan ahead of time are the ones who are interested in giving a good lesson. But when teachers make you actually work and turn things in make sure they are teaching and the students are learning. If a teacher gives a lecture and if students don’t understand it’s not the teachers fault neither the way he teaches because the students play a role as well. A student tone forced or asks questions when context isn’t understood. A better way to learn relies on the student is they want or not make an effort in the learning. But every teacher who gives notes, makes students go had on experience find examples that and relate to them is one of the best ways that can be taught. Good teaching doesn’t necessarily mean better learning, not everyone carries the same mentality, for some no matter how much you repeat it just won’t go in. For example I know some who’s smart be he has trouble learning he’s been taught in so many simple and engaging ways but he’s still a little slow he needs a lot of repetition. But once it hits mechanics he’s really great at it but general school hasn’t been his thing. Hr was able to graduate school but by relating school things to topics of his interest. But there have been situations where teaching has been done in a strange way where it’s very confusing and difficult for a student and someone without that knowledge. I took a class twice one because my teacher was a horrible one he would off topic like every day and we didn’t learn anything besides what he did as a hobbit when he was younger and his teenage life and his several mistakes growing up. For the midterms and finals the whole class and I were lost. I had help after school within the subject and I hardly passed. That teacher had no good teaching. But the next year I retook and and the et teacher I had was amazing she took time individually according to test scores and homework’s. She was very kind and understanding and if she saw a student that had potential she would push them to do better. She would also send tutorials she found the best of YouTube and send them to the whole class for extra clarification and would stay after school for more than an hour helping. Her teaching methods I found amazing her whole class passed with nothing lower than a C+ I was lucky to pass with an A thanks to her. But every teaching methods are different according to the subject and the students if they are paying attention or not.
