I found this reading interesting. The introduction of this chapter explains how we differ in gender on newborn babies. According to Henslin by birth it is determined what is supposed to be the biological terms and not on social inheritance. When we are born each of us arrive with an organ that distinguishes us from being male or female. Part of this difference takes both genders in different worlds that will define us for the rest of our lives. Male and female have a completely different world. Males will always play the role of man of the house, who pays the bills, but thats taught on the gender we are. By looking at the baby parents tend to choose the right accessories or materials for the baby because choosing cloth, colors, and toys depends on the baby gender. The most common colors for girls are pink and boys are blue. . Masculinity compared to feminine the world is different. Boys born to parents tend to seek to look for the right cloth which of course the color would be blue. They tend to dress male babies with the appropriate suit that sometimes parents use sailors suits. Also toys become an important role in their sexuality development. The development of sexuality they tend to see the presence of toys as little cars, boats, superheroes characters, guns, tools etc. This rule seeks to transform boys into a strong masculine to not be afraid of nothing. The attitudes of parents tend to be different for boys and girls. Play and the sexual boundaries of tolerance is very common for each parent that exists in the world. When talking or playing to a baby male, parents have different tones of voice when treating their child. Henslin also says that boys tend to have more freedom than girls. Males when asking permission to play the permission are granted more easily than females. For example males when they are playing they tend to play rough and try their best to win. But as puberty hits boys tend to be a bit more mature, their personalities and voices tend to change.. From puberty to the transition of teenagers things seems to change. The transition into artificially, teens(male) are more aware of their attitude towards others. They behave differently when they are around girls because their attitude becomes more artificial than how they always have been. Now sports and games are no longer enough to meet their expectations, now they are focused on meeting a partner and maybe having a relationship with a girl. The continuing of the masculine world becomes more serious, now they are adults. They become players in the intersexual games. They marry a person now they are responsible for various occupations, so they can receive an award from females.
